As Developer at OpusV you will work on OpusV's Software such as IXID and Sharkle as well as internal tooling. You will generally work together with a Senior Developer who will mentor you and review your work prior to merging to the main branch. Additionally, you will work together with the DevOps Technician and/or the Senior Developer to resolve any issues that are found in the codebase.
Requirements Must be an Australian Citizen, Resident or have a valid Working VISA. Must be able to attend the Melbourne Office at least 3 days a week. Responsibilities Communicate with the Development Team to understand the requirements, scale and scope of the project. Write quality code that is maintainable and meets requirements as defined by the Senior Developer and Stakeholders. Write unit tests to ensure that your code works as intended. Produce documentation for other staff including Developers and DevOps for tools that have been built and services deployed. Versions which contain deviations or specifics to their build must be separately documented. Deployment of software and systems. Receive and action end-user feedback. Perform on-going maintenance of code and security systems. Ensure that all work is aligned with relevant industry best practice and internal OpusV policies. Required Skills Proficiency in either Go or PHP/Laravel. Git Experience (you should be able to commit to a branch and merge branches comfortably without issues). Understanding of Linux fundamentals. Some experience with Docker and Docker composes. Basic webdev experience with HTML/CSS/JS at a fundamental level.
