We're pleased to invite applications for the position of Senior Payroll Officer to join our People and Culture team in Hindmarsh SA.
Reporting to Payroll Team Leader, you'll be the primary contact for employees across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia in the delivery of quality, timely and accurate payroll service and support.
In addition, you'll provide accurate reporting and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, maintain the payroll (Chris 21) and time management systems (Kronos), as well as process weekly and monthly payrolls for multiple legal entities.
In terms of specific responsibilities, you will:
Provide a strong service and quality focus for all employees in Australia/NZ, Singapore and Malaysia. Process accurate and timely end to end Payroll, across multiple locations for a range of payment schedules for Weekly and Monthly pays. Liaise with Line Leaders and HR Business Partners ensuring compliance with correct EBA/Award conditions. Maintain accuracy of employee data, through quality and audit procedures to align with compliance within Australia & NZ taxation laws. Prepare payroll terminations and backpays as required. Maintain and review the Time and Attendance system (Kronos) and Payroll system (C21). Develop, and interpret reports for a variety of stakeholders as required. Interpret and understand Awards and Legislation. About you
What you'll need:
Proven experience in a similar role in a large and complex organisation. Solid Payroll system experience, particularly Chris21. Experience in report preparation, interpretation, and review. Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. Well-developed communication skills, and ability to engage with multiple stakeholders. Intermediate proficiency with the MS Office suite. High levels of professional credibility, and personal integrity. What we'll offer you:
