We are seeking a Destination Marketing Officer to support the growth of our commercial precincts.
This hybrid role involves three days in the office, with core days on Tuesday and Thursday, and flexibility as needed. This position is to start ASAP and is initially contracted until the end of January 2025, but could lead to longer term opportunities. Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement marketing and promotional campaigns to enhance visitation and spending in our commercial precincts.Collaborate with various stakeholders, including local businesses and digital communication teams, to maximize marketing efforts.Create marketing collateral and manage communication strategies across multiple channels.Provide reporting and evaluation of marketing campaigns, utilizing analytics to inform future strategies.You will have the following: Experience in establishment work, marketing, and process mapping.Strong understanding of local government operations is a plus.Familiarity with the end-to-end lifecycle of marketing campaigns, including monitoring and evaluation.Proven ability to work collaboratively and engage with diverse stakeholders.Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or related fields.Experience in event marketing, communications, and public relations.Knowledge of website CMS, email marketing platforms, and design software is desirable.If you are interested in this role, please APPLY today.
