About the role Join a thriving production network as the leader of the site despatch team based out of our St Marys site.
You will lead the daily site transport operations; coordinating and monitoring transport fleet activities.
You will be a critical function for our customers, production and project staff, where you will not only lead the team but immerse yourself in the whole business function.
This role is responsible for ensuring our dispatch function is running smoothly and consistently.

Your responsibilities will include:
Provide subject matter expert advice on transport functions, i.e.
pricing, capability of fleet etc Lead and motivate the despatch team through expertise and action Identify process improvement opportunities Build and maintain excellent customer relationships Liaise with customers, the planning team and project management team with notification of changes to the delivery plan, concerns on site and proof of delivery requests Performing load checks and auditing of loads and load restraint Adhering to all relevant health and safety policies, standards, procedures and legislative requirements To be successful in this role, you will:
Be a proven supervisor/leader experienced in despatch, distribution or logistics Have experience and or knowledge of the transport/ heavy vehicle industry and understand load compliance Be highly focused on safety and adhere to all policies, standards, procedures and legislative requirements Have a customer service and relationship management mindset with a high level of negotiation skills Be process orientated and demonstrate a high level of resilience Be computer literate and have experience with Microsoft Office Suite, JDE/SAP, Sparks desirable Load restraint knowledge desirable About Us InfraBuild is Australia's leading integrated steel manufacturing, distribution and recycling business, making steel using our electric arc furnaces.
