The roleIf you have a passion for challenges and teamwork, then this is the opportunity for you.Reporting directly to the Central Despatch Manager in Campbellfield head office, you will be one of the first points of contact for our customers, and responsible for providing a high level of service, efficiency, and professionalism, while maintaining excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills. You will be trained in despatch and scheduling and work alongside the despatch team; there is also a large focus on incoming and outgoing phone calls, and scheduling and allocations of both premixed concrete and raw materials.You will learn new skills with on-the-job training, be exposed to the construction materials industry and be part of a close-knit team, with potential opportunities to grow.To be successful in this role you must be able to work Saturday mornings on a rotating roster (usually every second Saturday)ResponsibilitiesAnswering high volumes of customer calls professionally and efficientlyTaking and input of concrete orders within the Melbourne concrete businessWorking with despatch for scheduling and daily truck movementsMaintain communication with sales, operations and credit teamsEnsure safety, health and environmental standards are maintainedWhat you will need to succeedExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with diverse customers internally and externallyProven customer service experience, problem solving abilities and ability to think outside the box, and a good work ethicWillingness to learn and develop in this roleAccuracy, consistency and reliability are a MUST along with exceptional customer service skills.Some geographical knowledge of Melbourne is preferredCommitment to health, safety and environment policies and proceduresOur BusinessHy-Tec is a leading supplier of premixed concrete, aggregates, and sands to various construction sectors.
