About the Company: This is an Australian division of a global company who are known for their strong employee focus and a Leader in their field. About the Role: This is an onsite role providing second-level end user IT support and problem resolution at our site in Ballarat for 3 days a week. You will occasionally need to provide remote support to other locations if each site's primary lead is on leave. Responsibilities: Desktop PC & Laptop Hardware installation, setup and configuration, problem diagnosis and resolution. Support of MS Teams meeting room equipment. Facilitating user training sessions. General IT troubleshooting and assistance as required on site. Assisting with project work. Occasional participation in afterhours / weekend support & deployment activities as required. Skills and Experience: Ideally you will be qualified in an IT related discipline and have experience in supporting IT technologies including PC & Laptop Hardware support, Windows 10 operating systems, Outlook, MS Teams, MS Office and have a basic understanding of networking. Your attention to detail, natural curiosity, ability in problem solving, planning and priority setting coupled with a strong focus on customer service will put you in good stead for this role. A driver's license is a must for this position, as you will be providing support to few sites. Excellent communication skills and the ability to commit to regular and punctual attendance are critical.
