Desktop Home Assessor

We're thrilled to partner with this Australian owned insurance giant who are looking for Desktop Home Assessors to join their high-performing teams based in Lidcombe NSW.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end process of allocated claims, concentrating on the cause, scope and cost of insured claims and the restoration, repair or rebuilding of damaged property.
Your key responsibilities will include: Conduct desktop assessments of insured properties using virtual assessing Produce detailed reports, determine cause, coverage, damage, and best repair methods. Review scope of works and provide reports to ensure the most cost effective and timely methods of repairs. Communicate the extent of damage and repair schedules with customers Liaise with local authorities and third-party building surveyors regarding compliance issues and ensure repairs comply with relevant BCA and/or Australian standards. To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have: Exposure to estimation/quotes/scope of works within the insurance and/or building industry. Competent with computer software systems Ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, including vulnerable customers, builders, and suppliers. Background in producing accurate scope of works Exceptional time management and organisational skills Self-manage and ability to prioritise your daily activities So, what's in it for you?
