The Role Due to recently awarded contracts with some of Australia's biggest Telecommunications carriers we have two new positions for Designers, reporting to the Design Manager. The preference is for this role to be based in Sydney, however open to other locations for the right candidate. You will oversee and manage all aspects of design, ensuring all design works are completed to the expected level of quality, within budget, and on schedule. Responsibilities include: Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, and coordinate all activities, from planning to closeout. Quality audits and checks to ensure work meets standards. Manage resources, such as personnel, software and hardware. Identify and mitigate risks and issues, communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders. Reporting to ensure timelines and deadlines are met. About You In addition to continuously looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes, the following qualifications, education, and personal traits will be highly regarded: Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or similar. DBORs experience is a must (Multiman, TPD, CMART, Net Facilities, CADLINK, MITS, Netmaps, SNOW). Strong understanding of Telstra IEN architecture and design requirements. Extensive experienced with Auto CAD and other design software. Effective communication and self-management skills. High level of attention to detail.
