Some of your responsibilities will include:• Developing and quantifying transport infrastructure design models in the strategic planning, concept, development, and implementation phases of an overarching Road System Manager framework for the delivery of projects.• Managing and undertaking key components of the planning and design function for transport infrastructure projects to achieve successful completion within time, quality, cost and stakeholder expectations.• Ensuring that planning and design principles are implemented in accordance with the relevant policies, standards, guidelines and legislation, and that quality management procedures are adhered to.• Implementing the most suitable design process for project delivery, including investigating, analysing and conceptualising design options to meet project objectives.• Assist with the review of transport infrastructure design drawings and documentation provided by external design consultancies.• Providing technical advice and support in relation to planning and design processes for transport infrastructure projects. This can encompass corridor planning, program development, delivery, and finalisation.• Development of effective relations with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address needs, expectations and issues that may affect the successful delivery of projects.
