Job Description - Designer (Civil) (2400840)A switched-on role with flexibilityA role where the City is your canvasFull time, permanent position starting at $91,537 + 11.5% superAbout the OpportunityThe Designer (Civil) will play a key role in providing design services to the Technical Services team. Under the direction of the Senior Design Drafter, Senior Landscape Architect, and Engineering team, this position contributes to achieving the City of Adelaide's Strategic Plan outcomes.The Designer (Civil) will be responsible for delivering professional drafting services to facilitate the capital works program, producing technical drawings for various projects including civil and stormwater infrastructure, landscape architecture, urban design, traffic and transport, roads, drainage, and footpaths.In your role, you will maintain all revisions of project drawings and drafting logs, review drawings for completeness and accuracy, and ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Additionally, you will contribute to the development, drafting, and quality control of the Council's standard detail suite, and work closely with designers, engineers, and other staff to ensure precise technical design documentation.
