Manage the Design Assistant to achieve cutting edge designs that achieve high volume sales and promote Country Road as a market leader.
Please note that this is an 18 month maternity cover contract Key Accountabilities Design on brand product range ensuring it meets CR image, option plan, price points and margin in conjunction with Design ManagerManage the strategic design brief selecting seasonal colour palettes and discussing trends in silhouette, fabric and colourMaintain focus on target customer and attract new customers through range with the Design ManagerWork collaboratively to implement approved business initiatives through existing operational structures and ensures ownershipUtilise forecasting information provided to contribute to the design brief and build rangeComplete necessary research, evolve & collate relevant imagery for boards prior to Design meetingsPrepare and present design briefs and ranges to the MD with the Design ManagerAssist in preparing and participate at store conference in conjunction with Design and Merch managers, presenting ranges and talking through key looksInteract with stores in conjunction with the Design Manager, presenting the range and talking through key looksLiaise and build relationships with overseas agents and key stakeholders to communicate styling and design concepts.Key Capabilities Experience building ranges taking into account core, seasonal and aspirational elementsExcellent communication skills, ability to work within teamAttention to detail and strong organisational skillsAbility to develop team member capability and succession.Why work for CRG?
