The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Design Technology (Digtial) Technician (up to 3 days per week, term-time only until the end of 2025) to join our team at the Wheelers Hill Campus and contribute to the growth and development of our students in the exciting field of Design Technology.
The successful applicant will play a crucial role in our dynamic school community.
With a strong foundation in design and workshop fabrication skills, the ideal candidate will bring valuable expertise in utilising workshop tools and equipment.
They will also play a key role in ensuring smooth information flow, utilising their strong IT and communication skills to enhance engagement, streamline processes and facilitate effective collaboration with students and colleagues.
Key Duties Provide support for the members of the Design teaching staff in an administrative, organisational and technical capacity and technical support to students in classes Coordinate and manage materials and equipment for 3D printers and laser cutters Manage digital exhibitions and display of student works and complete associated duties Ensure efficient management of 3D printers and other rapid prototyping processes Support students in Digital Technology classes Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours.
