Do you have a passion for design and enjoy going above and beyond for your customers? Brickworks is offering an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and creative Design Studio Manager to join the team at our Hobart Design Studio. Reporting to the Group Manager, Business Development, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, hosting industry-leading events, and securing project specifications.
Duties include but are not limited to: Manage the Design Studio budget to ensure efficient financial operations.Provide exceptional customer service, actively promoting Brickworks products to clients.Assist in specifying products for various projects and driving conversion into sales.Develop and maintain relationships with key builder accounts, trades, and architectural customers.Support the achievement of Design Studio key performance indicators by managing contacts and creating opportunities within the Salesforce CRM system.Conduct Colour Consultations for clients, prepare detailed colour schedules, and encourage product upgrades where possible.Promote the Design Studio as an industry hub and source of inspiration for clients.Organise and run industry-leading events in the Design Studio and occasionally offsite.Ensure compliance with Brickworks' Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures.Manage an effective contractor induction process and maintain accurate records.Handle administrative tasks, including raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and submitting credit card expenses by deadlines, in line with company policies.Success Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in design, business, or project management (highly regarded).A background in office management, administration, events, or hospitality, with experience in the building industry an advantage.An eye for colour, design, and a passion for exceptional customer service.The ability to work independently while inspiring teamwork and collaboration.Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities with ease.A vibrant personality and strong communication skills to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.A knack for solving problems and staying calm under pressure.Why join us?
