Our client is now seeking a talented and experienced Design Manager to join our dynamic team and help drive our future developments to new heights.The RoleAs the Design Manager, you will be at the forefront of our design process, leading a team of architects, designers, and external consultants. You will oversee the design and delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetics. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong eye for detail, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to bring creative visions to life.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design process from concept through to completion, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and project objectives.Manage and collaborate with a team of architects, designers, and external consultants.Develop and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices for the company.Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, building codes, and sustainability requirements.Oversee the preparation of design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and other relevant materials.Coordinate with other departments, including development, construction, and marketing, to ensure seamless project delivery.Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure the highest quality outcomes.Manage design budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and technologies to incorporate into future projects.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in design management within the property development industry.Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in residential and/or commercial projects.Comprehensive understanding of local building regulations, codes, and standards in Queensland.Proven ability to lead and inspire a design team.Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.Opportunities to work on developments of this stature do not come up often.
