Role:Lendlease WA has an exciting new opportunity for a Design Manager to join our team on a significant, long-term project in Perth.You will be responsible for leading your assigned design team, from the initial stages of the project through to delivery.
Your scope will extend to cost planning and construction teams as you will lead multiple design packages.In this role, your responsibilities will include reviewing compliance, chairing design meetings, managing document control, and meeting with clients, all with the aim of ensuring technical requirements are met.To be successful you will need:10+ years' experience in the industry.Qualifications in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline.Strong Design Management and/or Project Management experience, managing client and consultant teams.Experience on large scale commercial, education, defence, or high-rise residential construction projects (ideally $100m+).Ability to manage complex design processes to high technical standards in a robust, cost-managed environment.Ability to communicate with influence and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders.About Lendlease:With a national delivery capability, combined with a sector-focused approach, Lendlease Construction provides innovative and industry-leading project management, design, and construction services driven by detailed sector knowledge and experience.
