Design Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced design manager to join a leading builder based in Sydney's CBD. Their capabilities span multiple sectors including - Defence, Hospitals, Residential, and general commercial projects. All with a value over $100mil.

Due to an extensive tender pipeline and newly awarded projects, our client is now recruiting for an experienced design manager to join a project based close to the City.

This role will see you working alongside a large and highly experienced construction team on a large commercial site over $100MIL. This is truly an exceptional opportunity to join a builder of choice, be part of a career-defining project, and work with a large team of highly skilled construction professionals.

This position will require you to

Oversee the preparation of drawings/scope of works
Work alongside all consultants to ensure time, cost, and quality are met.
Technical compliance
Run design meetings
Liaise with project teams at an operational level
Client / Stakeholder coordination

To be considered for this role you will hold a relevant degree in either building, engineering, or architecture. You will have extensive experience in either defense, commercial, residential, or health projects. Ideally, you will have a main contractor/tier one building experience from a Project Engineer or SPE background.
