Job Description In search of an experienced Design Manager to join its dynamic team. This exciting opportunity is based in Melbourne.
About the Role: As the Design Manager, you'll lead and collaborate with the Uniti design office, overseeing the planning and design of Fibre Optic Networks. Your role involves ensuring construction deadlines and design standards are met while also driving the enhancement of design office systems for future efficiency. Effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders is crucial to address their design requirements and align with business objectives.
Responsibilities: Manage and prioritise design office workload Utilise in-depth knowledge of GIS/Integrated data systems Support and assist the design office team with complex designs Review and enhance design standards in pit pipe and fibre design Plan required fibre and pit and pipe capacity in broadacre developments Design pit and pipe networks using AutoCAD Design Fibre networks in AutoCAD and DAD, including detailed splicing designs Design Fibre networks to service MDU projects Create Bill of Materials (BoM's) from fibre designs for various projects Lead and manage designers in the design office to ensure efficiency Engage with Uniti Project managers and civil contractors to determine the best outcomes from designs Ensure Quality Assurance of design office deliverables About You: The ideal candidate will:
