Job Summary: The Design Manager will oversee the design team and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality design solutions across various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, a keen eye for detail, and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities: Recruit, hire, and manage a team of talented designers.Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.Set clear expectations and performance goals.Develop and implement a comprehensive design strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design requirements and ensure consistency across all channels.Oversee the entire design process from concept to completion.Assign tasks, set deadlines, and monitor project progress.Ensure timely delivery of high-quality design solutions.Maintain a high level of design quality and consistency across all projects.Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to clients.Manage client expectations and deliver exceptional customer service.Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in design, visual communications, or a related field.5+ years of experience in design management or a similar role.Strong leadership and team management skills.Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, etc.)Excellent communication and presentation skills.A keen eye for detail and a passion for design.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Preferred Qualifications: Experience in managing remote teams.Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.Experience with design systems and component libraries. #J-18808-Ljbffr
