About the role Due to our continued growth and relationships with long term key clients, ACOR is seeking a self-motivated Design Manager to support the delivery of projects.
Working as part of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring effective project execution across multidisciplinary works within our Darwin office.
Duties & Responsibilities Provide technical direction, oversight and management of both engineering and design projectsConduct site-based inspections, engineering, and commissioning services to internal and external projectsEnsure exceptional client experience through client engagement & communicationProvide engineering assessment, design, and documentation of a high level within time, cost, and quality expectationsDemonstrate sound judgement and technically accurate and feasible project management, engineering and consultation solutions with minimal reviewProvide original contributions or apply new professional project management and engineering approaches and techniques to the design or development of projects and solutionsConsult, recommend, and advise in specialty project management and engineering areasSkills and experience Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering or other Building related disciplineCertifications in Project Management also highly regardedProven capabilities in Project and Design ManagementEnd to end Project delivery experience across multidisciplinary scopes of workHigh level written and verbal communication skills teamed with a professional personal presentationConsulting experience with the Department of Defence would be desirableA strong working knowledge of a range of project management and design software packages, data management systems and auditingDesign Management experience is preferredDue to the nature of our projects, the successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen and eligible for Baseline Security Clearance.
