We are currently seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our team to work on a multi-million-dollar EPC projects.
Ideally you will have a strong background in managing design packages and interfacing with construction teams. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Design Manager or equivalent role is required. You will have experience in a multidisciplinary environment, ideally with experience in wharf and associated marine structures plus some geotechnical, coastal and marine.
This role will oversee the production of multidisciplinary engineering design packages prepared by the engineering design team and ensure that the multi-disciplinary teams involved in the project achieve timely, cost-effective and fit for purpose engineering and design outcomes complying with project cost and schedule constraints.
You will be responsible for civil design management and application of design effort (i.e. 3D Modelling, design drawings and 3D Model Design Reviews, Client Reviews & technical review of the works, etc.) working closely with the Lead / Senior Engineers to ensure timely, cost-effective and fit for purpose engineering and design output complying with project cost & schedule constraints.
You will possess a detailed understanding and provide engineering and installation designs support and management for the development of concepts related to the design of 3D models, Earthworks, Drainage, Rail and Road Design. Ensuring that designs are in accordance with project requirements and company objectives and deliver quality outcomes for Clough and its clients.
This is a FIFO role for the right person to attend the project site.
