Your new role You will be responsible for the development of project design documentation, administration procedures, from initial briefing to construction handover. Key responsibilities will include; Attend project briefings, agree service requirements, and prepare detailed Design Management agreements. Prepare submission and expression of interest proposals. Prepare conceptual designs. Undertake the preparation of briefing documents, seek consultant submissions, and make recommendations in regard to the appointment of design consultants. Ensure the design program is drawn up and maintained. Prepare, control, and distribute project quality documents during the design phases. Establish a preliminary construction program with the assistance of the Construction/Site Manager. Control all developer variations. Manage a design consultancy register and fee schedule. What you'll need to succeed Bachelor of Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management Degree, or suitable experience in a similar role. Minimum 10 years experience within the building and construction industry. Project planning and drafting/ drawing knowledge. Financial Planning and budgeting skills.
