The Opportunity: This is a career-forming opportunity to lead and manage the civil engineering design process on major infrastructure projects that include road and rail. As part of the Project Leadership team and Civil Engineering capability community, you will:
Provide leadership to the design teamBe responsible for the successful delivery of design packages via effective technical leadership and mentorship of the design team.Communicate regularly with clients regarding design related issuesEstablish the design interfaces and facilitate smooth exchange of information between disciplines in accordance with program datesWork with the discipline leaders to explore design optimisation and value engineering opportunities.Review deliverables and work packages to confirm they are coordinated and consistently of a high qualityWorking with the project manager, implement and coordinate the design review and verification process with the discipline leaders.Contribute to risk review meetings, populate risk registers, and communicate design risks to the relevant parties.What you bring: We are looking for someone who is resourceful with a positive outlook and has a passion to make a difference and get things done. 15+ years experience in civil engineering and design managementConsulting engineering experience working on the design of major infrastructure projects such as road and rail, preferably in a Design and Construct environment.Enjoys working with people and in a teamComfortable liaising with and coordinating design teams and stakeholders towards successful outcomes.Wants to have fun and be part of an organisation thatvalue's your contributionWhy join us: We're a friendly bunch who are passionate about our work.
