Design Manager / Architect

Overview: Projected Resources is partnering with an existing client, a builder with an excellent reputation who is regarded as a true tier-two contractor.A new role within an existing team. We are looking for a mid-level design manager or an architect looking for an opportunity to transition to a leading Tier 2 builder near Chatswood.Known for delivering high-quality projects across diverse sectors including, Aged Care, Schools, General Commercial and Sporting Facilities.Key Responsibilities: Work as part of a team to oversee and manage the design process, coordinating with architects, consultants, and project teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects from concept to completion.Ensure designs meet client specifications and are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.Lead or participate in design coordination meetings, address technical queries, and ensure compliance with building regulations and industry standards.Collaborate with construction teams to ensure designs are practical, buildable, and aligned with project goals.Manage design documentation and proactively identify potential risks, implementing solutions to ensure seamless project delivery.Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a Design Manager or Architect looking to transition into a builder environment.Strong understanding of building regulations, construction methods, and project management principles.Aged care project experience or experience in a similar sector is highly desirable.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive outcomes.Relevant tertiary qualifications in architecture, engineering, or construction management.Benefits: Opportunity to work on impactful aged care and other high-profile projects in a reputable and well-regarded contractor with excellent staff retention and a team that works well together.Competitive salary package circa $160k to $180k.
