Join a well-established builder operating in the mid-tier market, known for its robust pipeline of boutique residential and mixed-use projects.
About Us Be part of a dynamic, locally owned construction firm that has grown steadily over the past 15 years.
With a team of over 140 skilled professionals, our client has successfully delivered more than 40 projects and has 15 more currently under construction, with several others in the pipeline.
Their projects, valued between $20 M and $150 M, are renowned for their luxury finishes and attention to detail.
The senior leadership team brings years of experience, providing a stable environment for career growth and professional development.
The Role This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Design Manager who excels in both front-end design and project delivery.
You will play a crucial role in bridging the tender/EOI phase with the construction phase, working closely with Project Managers to ensure a seamless project launch.
Reporting to one of four dedicated Construction Managers and the Head of Design, your focus will be on overseeing a unique mixed-use development in collaboration with one of Australia's most prestigious developers.
This project is set to create highly desirable and livable spaces.
You will be based on-site, ensuring that the project meets time, cost, and quality targets.
What We Offer Competitive salary ranging between $200 K – $220 K, aligned with market standards.

Key Responsibilities Lead design meetings with internal stakeholders.
Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and resolve buildability issues.
Coordinate with team members to overcome design-related challenges.
Produce reports for senior management.
Assist project management teams in securing necessary approvals to commence construction.
Skills & Experience Required Degree in Construction Management or a related field.
Proven experience in high-rise residential or boutique apartment sectors with reputable builders.
Strong understanding of buildability and budget management within tier-two markets.
Experience navigating the approvals process with relevant authorities.
