Our Perth Studio is seeking like-minded individuals who can complement and expand our aspirations.The RoleWe are seeking a passionate and engaging Associate or Senior Associate level Landscape Architect, Architect or Urban Designer to take responsibility for developing creative design solutions on our projects. You will play a key role at ASPECT, employing a confident leadership style and the dexterous management of projects to deliver powerful and innovative design outcomes.Our Associates play a key role at ASPECT, not only confidently managing projects to deliver innovative and fresh design outcomes but also leading teams and shaping a lasting culture in the studio. We are looking for motivated, collaborative designers; individuals who are excellent communicators in their design and people leadership.About YouYou put the pursuit of purpose at the center of your design ideas. You have a strong portfolio of high-quality conceptual design work. You will have delivered a range of projects from concept design and master planning to contract documentation and administration, along with a strong understanding of technical design documentation and the translation of conceptual ideas into buildable documentation packages.Adept at working across geographies and with diverse international clients and collaborators, your strategic approach allows you to navigate the challenges posed by complex, city-shaping projects. Strong communication skills have enabled you to successfully advocate for design outcomes, and your capacity for listening and sensitivity allows you to interpret and develop a brief.You have experience leading a design team, in both a face-to-face and remote working environment. You find joy in mentoring others and watching them develop.Over the course of your career, you have led or assisted with the development of submissions and proposals and contributed to the preparation of project-related design strategy.
