Design Leader - High End Hotel and Hospitality Projects This Melbourne based practice has a global reach and are recognised leaders in the delivery of large-scale, luxury hotel projects. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Design Leader to join their team. As Design Leader you will bring your experience within the hotel sector to shape project design, ensuring alignment with the initial vision. Working closely with the Creative Director, you will guide conceptual development and provide direction to achieve quality outcomes. To be considered for this role you must have experience using AutoCAD and Sketch Up
Key Responsibilities: Shape project design ensuring alignment with initial vision Guide conceptual development and provide direction to achieve quality outcomes Work closely with the Creative Director to achieve excellent design outcomes Maintain the design concept's integrity throughout the project and ensure the studio's intent is realized Collaborate with the Project Director, you oversee project delivery in line with studio standards. Externally, you represent the studio to clients, operators, and stakeholders, building relationships in line with business development strategies. Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (ie. Interior Design, Architecture, Interior Architecture etc) 10+ years of proven experience in a design leadership role in large scale hospitality projects Strong leadership and communication skills Strong technical, operational and planning knowledge Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Experience working with cross-functional teams Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools Experience in AutoCAD & SketchUP Culture and Benefits Opportunity to take a step up in your career, working with highly experienced mentors and gain exposure to interesting and complex projects across the globe.
