Design Lead - Mixed-Use/Multi-Residential/Hotel Projects

This design-led studio has a focus on high-end quality design projects across living and leisure sectors predominantly.
As they go through a period of growth they are looking to add a Design Architect to the team.
The successful candidate will be working on design schemes from client briefing/conceptual stages and being responsible for leading DA packages and mentoring a junior team of designers.
Key Responsibilities Develop and lead design schemes across varying scales and project typologies.Lead DA documentation, overseeing a team.Attend all relevant meetings and coordinate between all consultants whilst maintaining design intent.Support and collaborate with Director and design team across design and delivery stages.Prepare/oversee and deliver design presentations.Skills & Experience Strong understanding of the design and DA process on local multi-residential projects.Proficiency in Revit.Solid understanding of Australian standards and BCA.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.Strong communication skills and confidence presenting to client.Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.Benefits & Culture Career progression opportunities.Work on high-end design projects.Work alongside highly regarded industry professionals.Reference: GB #66057 If the above position appeals to you then please submit your CV to and we'll be in touch.
