THE OPPORTUNITY As a member of the Global Emerging Markets Studio based in Sydney, you will be joining a team of award-winning designers focused on delivering best practice climate resilient design and crafting projects that deliver design excellence.

As Design Lead, you will impart your passion for design and the importance of relationships while inspiring and leading a group of talented senior professional landscape architects and urban designers.
This role represents a rare opportunity to join an industry leading multidisciplinary design-led practice and work on a complex high-profile international programme of work.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Lead design excellence and design culture of complex large scale urban master planning projects, from conception to completionOversee the design of projects and ensure design quality assuranceTeam leadership and direction: work with senior managers to encourage collaboration and a high degree of creativity and innovationClimate resilient and sustainable design direction: work with project managers to review and refine the projects Place Prosperity indicators as requiredDevelop and maintain relationships with existing and/or new clients and consultants to generate new projectsABOUT YOU A strong background in design, project and team leadership (Associate to Senior Associate level)Significant demonstrated built industry experience (7+ years), ideally within large project teamsClear understanding of urban design, public realm and/or landscape architecture principles and the demonstrated ability to apply themExceptional conceptual thinking with the ability to visualise design projectsStrong leadership and mentoring skillsMaster planning experienceKnowledge of 3D modelling software, Rhinoceros preferredA portfolio of international built/delivered work that demonstrates design excellenceTertiary qualifications in urban design, architecture and/or landscape architectureWHAT WE OFFER We provide a dynamic and collaborative working environment and offer benefits to ensure your professional development and wellbeing including:
