The Opportunity Consolidated Power Projects is seeking an experienced Design Engineer - Secondary to join our growing Engineering team. Secondary Design Engineers deliver timely and accurate technical designs while supporting field staff, customers, and colleagues. The successful candidate will produce accurate precision designs required for secondary protection and control (PAC) systems in the high voltage utility and renewable sectors.
You will deliver complex internal and external secondary system design projects and demonstrate capability in checking secondary system design outputs. You will join a highly regarded in-house Design & Engineering team of over 140 experienced professionals and play an integral role in the successful delivery of various industry-leading projects.
This opportunity has the flexibility to be based out of any of our CPP offices in SA/VIC/NSW/QLD and remote working arrangements are available for those in Tasmania or Western Australia. Relocation assistance is also available for any successful candidates wishing to relocate to one of our offices.
About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalentDemonstrated experience leading complex secondary systems design projects5+ years experience in a similar role within Energy/Electrical utilities industriesHigh-level communication and stakeholder engagement skillsWhy Join Us?
