We offer unwavering quality, outstanding value, and unparalleled customer service.What we offer:A collaborative and passionate team environmentExcellent workplace cultureThe opportunity to learn and grow in the industryTeambuilding functions & eventsRole overview:As part of our Design Team, our Design Draftsperson produces technical drawings for custom designed residential dwellings, using ArchiCAD.Main responsibilities:Ensure accurate and timely output of all design functions & tasks, including 3D rendering, concept designs, planning drawings, amendments, stage one working drawings, & final construction setsFacilitate design meetings with clients in collaboration with the sales team to help demonstrate/meet the needs of our clients, highlighting our design expertise and above all winning the clients confidence to proceed to build with Regent HomeEnsure a high level of quality controls are in place to ensure drawings are accurate and comply with all governance bodies and construction practicesCheck and approve timber framing layouts and structural steel documentation ready for publishing to constructionLiaise with selections and production estimation departmentsWork closely with the construction manager and supervisors to enhance our construction methodologyLiaise with local councils to gain relevant feedback/guidance in relation to proposed designsLiaise in a professional and efficient manner with Regent Homes' suppliers and/or contractorsEnsure Regent Homes is 100% compliant in all aspects of legislative Work Health and Safety and take measures to ensure the safe work practice of yourself, other employees, our clients, contractors, and suppliersWhat you will bring:A minimum Diploma qualification in Building DesignAt least 3 years' experience in a Drafting role in the housing and construction industryPreferred experience with ArchiCAD, however not essentialSound knowledge of the National Construction and Australian standards & codesStrong understanding of building design concepts and proceduresSolid understanding of building specifications, materials, and construction practicesAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with proven time management and organisational skillsHigh attention to detailExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of peopleAbility to show initiativeCollaborative working approachTo Apply:Click apply now and upload a current Resume addressing the above criteria.This is an onsite role, so you are required to be in Adelaide with full working rights to be considered.Application Process:All applicants will be contacted via email in the first instance to advise if progressing or if unsuccessful.
