A switched-on role with flexibilityA role where the City is your canvasFull time, permanent position starting at $100,882 + 11.5% superAbout the Opportunity As part of the Infrastructure Program, the Design Drafter will provide professional advice and input into the technical design, development, implementation, and monitoring of a range of projects and proposals that contribute to achieving the City of Adelaide's Strategic Plan outcomes.
Some of the projects we are currently working on are:
Main Streets Revitalisation Project – Melbourne Street, Hutt Street, O'Connell Streets, Hindley Street and Gouger Street.Streetscape and laneway upgradesCity and Park Lands Shared Paths and BikewaysMajor Stormwater upgrade and renewal projects.About You To be successful in this role you will have:
Demonstrated technical knowledge of civil engineering and experience in drafting/design experience in the civil and infrastructure field.Demonstrated skill with Microsoft Office and high proficiency in AutoCAD and producing accurate design drawings.Manual design and drafting skills.Knowledge of Australian drafting standards, building construction, practices, and techniques.Experience in the delivery of design, documentation, and quality assurance to meet the highest industry standards and statutory regulations.If you do not meet all of the above criteria, we would still like to hear from you.
