The Position Immediate requirement for a Design Coordinator to join our team on a full time, permanent basis.
The role is to be part of our on-site Design Management team managing technical obligations on all relevant design management processes and solutions.
The role involves satisfying the needs of the clients and stakeholders to achieve overall specific and commercial, contractual and quality requirements With a long history of building some of NSW iconic buildings, A W Edwards will be around in the decades ahead and will be able to offer the successful Design Coordinator a long-term career and opportunities to advance into Design Management.
The role initially involves working closely and collaboratively with site-based roles on a major Data Centre project in Western Sydney.

Requirements Minimum 2-3 years' experience overseeing and managing Design and BIM Coordination within the construction or adjacent similar sector – This role would suit an experienced Graduate Architect or Project Architect with strong 3D Modelling/BIM Coordination skills/experience on large-scale commercial projects.
Proven contribution to projects of similar sectors and values within the design and construction phases Knowledge and understanding of industry relevant tools and software – Revizto, Revit, BIM 360, Navisworks Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to establish and maintain effective collaborative and consultative working relationships Strong communication skills at all levels Self-motivated, adaptable and reliable Very strong attention to detail Why join A W Edwards   This is a top tier business well-known for creating a workplace that feels like a family company A strong corporate identity that will give you an opportunity to develop your construction career through a variety of projects in the future.
