This building company is establishing their brand across the Sydney Metro and is based in northwest Sydney. They are building an even split of project homes and KDR homes.
The role will work within the estimating team of a handful of Estimators, in a senior-level capacity. The successful candidate will be hands-on (mainly production) estimating, along with eventually managing the other Estimators as a Team Leader. Flexibility with work hours on offer.
As the Estimator, you will be responsible for:
Creating tenders from first principles Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers Using in-house software as a tool for estimating Sales and production estimating System set up for future works Procurement Collecting and analysing the scope of works to estimate the cost of labour, machines, subcontractors, time and any other associated costs which may impact the project Overseeing and managing team-mate's work and workflow Solving elevated issues and collaborating with the Director To be considered for the position of Estimator you will require:
Tertiary qualifications in construction or a trade background Experience pricing and delivering project homes Excellent communication skills Experience negotiating rates Ability to work Monday to Friday in an office and committing to a full-time role. Benefits:
