Design & Build have partnered with a builder specialising in the delivery of high-end townhomes across the Melbourne region. They set the standards with their delivery, and have an exciting year ahead with a number of projects in the pipeline.
Given their success and ongoing work, they are looking to bring on an Estimator to their team that holds medium-density experience and most importantly a positive attitude.
About the Role: Complete small take offs and collate tender pricing Analyse, negotiate and revise inclusions with trade and contractor pricing Ensure the efficient and accurate production of building estimates Check contract plans for accuracy prior to release for construction Communicate with internal and external stakeholders Complete quantity take-offs for building materials & labour Compile and issue purchase orders Perform estimating associated administrative duties Skills & Experience: Experience working on Medium-Density projects (Townhouses) Demonstrated experience as an estimator within residential construction Ability to prioritise work, manage timeframes and hit deadlines Strong communication skills Sound knowledge of the construction process and industry standards Proficiency with Databuild and PlanSwift Culture & Benefits: Supportive work culture Work for a highly-regarded builder delivering high-end townhomes Large pipeline of projects Opportunities for career advancement Salary up to $80K + Super For any questions relating to this role or other opportunities with D&B and our clients please contact Denise Kostoulias on (03) 8535 3100 or click apply.
