Environmental Advisor – FIFO

Are you an experienced Environmental Advisor seeking your next challenge? Our client is a leading provider of infrastructure solutions with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects across Australia. They are currently looking for a skilled Environmental Advisor to join their team in a FIFO capacity.
About the Role:
In this dynamic position, you'll play a key role in ensuring environmental compliance and sustainability on major infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing practical environmental management solutions. Assisting project teams with Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP), sub-plans, and environmental procedures. Managing environmental approval processes and compliance requirements. Conducting audits of CEMP, EOPs, SWMS, and other environmental documentation. Delivering environmental training to on-site and office-based staff. Monitoring environmental management controls, budgets, and project needs. Providing technical advice on environmental and sustainability matters to project teams. What You Bring: A degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline. At least 5 years' experience in environmental project management, ideally within infrastructure or energy-related sectors. Familiarity with large-scale infrastructure projects is a strong advantage. Comprehensive knowledge of state (QLD) and federal environmental regulations. Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Experience in implementing and auditing Construction Environmental Management Plans. What's in It for You?
