Design & Build is supporting an Australian-owned builder with a search for a Building Manager to oversee residential developments in SA.

As the Building Manager you will be responsible for the following:
Project Management: Oversee the entire construction process from pre-construction planning to project completion. Quality Control: Ensure that all construction activities meet or exceed quality standards, codes, and regulations. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and costs, providing accurate and timely financial reporting. Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones. Client Communication: Regularly communicate with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact project delivery or quality. To be considered for the Building Manager position you will require:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction management, with a focus on custom home or volume home projects. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction best practices. Excellent project and people management skills with a proven ability to manage both simultaneously. Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members. Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of commercial acumen. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
