Queensland Health (Organisation site http://www.health.qld.gov.au/ ) Metro North Hospital and Health Service, Herston Fixed term temporary part time opportunity to provide client-focused, contemporary, and commercial quality graphic design and production advice and services across print, digital and web publishing, and contribute to the achievement of the health service's strategic objectives.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Provide strategically aligned support and advice to stakeholders, clients and staff, non-government agencies and community groups on design strategies for all marketing, promotional engagement and publishing activities, including outsourcing of printing where required, providing accurate and timely advice on production timeframe estimates and a full account of associated costs.
Prepare, edit and produce a variety of internal and external print, digital and web collateral that includes marketing and promotional items, newsletters, screensavers, patient facing publications and posters, and other communication and promotional resources in line with Metro North's policies and standards.
Assist with the development of Metro North procedures, guidelines and templates to ensure the content and design of print and online publications is of the highest standard, is appropriate to the target audience and is compliance with relevant legislation, policies and standards to meet organisational objectives.
Provide advice to business units to ensure the application and integrity of the Metro North's Visual Identity guidelines is maintained across all design projects, to achieve program goals and service objectives.
Develop and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current technical developments and industry trends in relation to graphic design, print publishing and web development and comply with organisational policies, guidelines, local work instructions and quality assurance procedures.
