TSH is a teaching institution linked to the University of New South Wales, The University of Sydney, St Vincent's Hospital and Westmead Hospital.
It is an exciting time to join TSH and our clinical trials team, and the growth phase that we are currently experiencing.
We continue to develop new services and expand clinical and surgical services at Darlinghurst and Westmead.
As the Dermatology Research Fellow, you will be responsible for facilitating clinical trials for 3 days per week at one of our three TSH locations including Dubbo.
In addition, you may attend and participate in selected dermatology clinics where you will take direct patient responsibility and conduct research relating to the field of Dermatology for 2 days per week.
Clinic attendance and research projects will be undertaken as an honorary appointee.
In this position, you will be required to establish and maintain relationships across a range of partners and stakeholders, in particular liaising with pharmaceutical companies, promoting trials, recruiting and examining patients periodically according to protocol and the preparation of papers for publication.
The Skin Hospital also promotes dermatology education and works closely with Australasian College of Dermatologists, and as one of our Dermatology Research Fellows you will have access to dermatology seminars and educational series facilitated by The Skin Hospital.
The position will therefore suit a post graduate doctor (PGY2 completed) who is looking to apply for an accredited Dermatology Trainee opportunity in the future.
