We are seeking an experienced Deputy Service Manager (must be a division 1 Nurse with a current registration with AHPRA) for a permanent full time position at our Elizabeth Gates, Singleton service. You will ideally have a minimum of 5 years experience in aged care.
About the Uniting Singleton facilities: Elizabeth Gates - nestled in the peaceful rural township of the Hunter Valley region, a welcoming aged care home in an intimate community of 35 residents.
Alroy House - With 2 separate households, each with between 24-25 residents, including a secure Memory Support Unit for people living with dementia. Your Uniting Homemaker ensures that the community is thriving and doing things that are meaningful and enjoyable.
What do we need you to do? You will have the proven ability to lead and coordinate service strategies in functional areas that include:
Working for the continuous improvement of our service in line with Accreditation StandardsFacilitating the development of your team to uphold the unique needs of each clientAssigning work allocations to team members based on their skills and abilities.Advocating with and for our clients and their families to enable choice and decision making that supports independenceInterpreting audits and data, identify trends, provide advice, and implement improvement initiativesMaintaining clinical governance and overseeing the clinical staff to maintain compliance and clinical careMeet KPIs with excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlinesEnsure high quality resident care is consistently delivered through out the facility including updating of care plans, wound reviews and medication overviewWhat do we need you to bring?
