The Opportunity:
The Deputy Sales Manager is responsible for meeting or exceeding television and digital advertising sales budgets and forecasts within the 7 Central Queensland Team.
Based in Rockhampton and reporting to the Sales Manager you'll:
Ensure that monthly, quarterly, and six-monthly television and digital sales budgets are achieved or exceeded. Maintain and grow the sales revenue for the Central Queensland market annually. Work with the Sales Manager to drive a high-performance team focused on our key SWM values with a #bettertogether mentality. Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional manner whilst representing the best interests of 7. Provide management with top-line reports that are accurate, clear, succinct and timely, including weekly sales reports to track revenue and share forecasts across your portfolio. You will also be required to prepare regular quarterly forecasting to demonstrate how you will deliver to quarterly and annual targets. Take accountability for sales results across your portfolio of clients and support the Central Qld office. About You:
You will be an experienced Deputy Sales Manager with exceptional interpersonal skills, strong leadership, and an innovative mindset to drive revenue growth and build lasting relationships with clients. If you have a knack for negotiation, a passion for people management, and a proven ability to deliver results.
You will have:
Proven ability as a persuasive, succinct and considerate communicator A proven track record in managing multiple projects and achieving set budgets Previous experience in negotiating with advertising agencies while maintaining a professional approach to work. Computer Skills to an intermediate level – Microsoft Office IT packages – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Knowledge of TAM & industry software is desirable. Previous experience in a similar sales leadership role will be highly regarded. Why Seven Network?
