An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate and flexible educational leader to join the Urangan State High School executive leadership team as Deputy Principal, on a temporary full-time basis for Semester 1 2025 (unless otherwise determined).

Urangan State High School is seeking applications for an enthusiastic and flexible educational leader to join our executive leadership team as Deputy Principal. Our award-winning school has a population of approximately 1500 students from Year 7 to Year 12. With a focus on implementing the curriculum with fidelity, Urangan State High School has a late start for students every Monday and Friday so that our teachers can collaboratively plan curriculum with alignment and precision.
About the Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students. Deputise for the Principal when required. Uphold the deputy principalship as a values-based, ethical and moral activity. Embed socially just practices in daily school life. Set high standards for student and staff performance.
