Kruger State School is seeking an experienced Deputy Principal to lead teaching and learning, including implementation of the Australian Curriculum and the whole-school approach to pedagogy.
This role is offered on a temporary full-time basis, for a period of 12 months, unless otherwise determined.

About the Role Key responsibilities of this role include:
Whole school implementation of the Australian Curriculum V9, including enhancement of staff capability to support this agenda;Development of OneSchool 2025 Primary School Timetable to support curriculum delivery across the school;Implementation of Science of Reading process, which includes development of the scope and sequences, quality assurance and professional development opportunities for staff;Support the implementation of the whole school pedagogical framework.Successful applicant must have:
Demonstrated capacity to lead implementation of the Australian Curriculum;Knowledge and experience with OneSchool timetabling;Demonstrated capacity to lead whole school implementation of reading across curriculum.The following skills and experiences are desirable in this position:
Ability to understand how culture shapes student learning and how curriculum and pedagogy implementation can be impacted by cultural diversity.Ability to understand how student needs impact on learning and what actions teachers can take to support all students to be successful learners.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.
