Salary: Level 3, $125,850 - $137,715 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2021)
This is a twelve (12) month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025 with possible extension.

Wiluna Remote Community School (RCS) is a vibrant educational institution located in the culturally rich and historically significant region of Wiluna, 1000km north-east of Perth and 550km north of Kalgoorlie. Our school caters to students from Kindergarten through Year 12, with a dedicated enrolment of between 65 and 85 students.

The Role
As the Deputy Principal - Secondary, you will be an integral part of our dedicated team, playing a key role in driving innovation and leading whole school improvement.
You Will Ideally:
Innovative Curriculum Development: Lead the development and implementation of a unique, regionally tailored curriculum that incorporates Martu culture and pathways.
Cross-Curricular Learning: Design and promote cross-curricular learning experiences that integrate traditional and contemporary knowledge.
Data-Driven Instruction: Track and create new methods to showcase transience in attendance data.
Teacher Upskilling: Mentor and upskill teachers in implementing innovative instructional practices.
Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in working with parents, community members, and other stakeholders.
Leadership and Collaboration: Establish and sustain effective collaborative approaches to lead whole school improvement.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in educational leadership with a focus on innovation and curriculum development.
Ability to design and implement unique cross-curricular learning experiences.
Strong skills in data analysis and the effective use of ICT to support teaching and learning.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with experience engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in Secondary education with a commitment to upskilling and supporting teachers.
