Deputy Principal (Primary School and Early Childhood) We are seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Principal to join our vibrant community from 2025.

We are willing to negotiate reimbursement of some relocation expenses for the right candidate if moving interstate.
What you'll be doing
Provide strategic leadership and management to the Primary School and Early Childhood Faculties Ensure the delivery of high-quality Steiner education programs and support the professional development of teaching staff Manage the day-to-day operations, including student enrolments, staffing, and facilities Promote a positive school culture and support the wellbeing of students, staff, and the broader school community Collaborate closely with the Principal and other senior leadership to achieve the school's strategic goals Represent the school in the local community and with external stakeholders What we're looking for
Significant experience in a senior leadership role within a primary or early childhood education setting, preferably in a Steiner school environment Demonstrated expertise in implementing Steiner educational philosophies and pedagogy is highly desirable Understanding of the Australian Curriculum Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and the broader school community Strong commitment to student wellbeing Willingness to be involved in the broader life of the school Strong problem-solving, decision-making and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team effectively Tertiary qualifications in Education, and a commitment to ongoing professional development Eligibility for permanent employment in Australia.
