Deputy Principal (Primary School and Early Childhood)
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Principal to join our vibrant community from 2025.

We are willing to negotiate reimbursement of some relocation expenses for the right candidate if moving interstate.What you'll be doingProvide strategic leadership and management to the Primary School and Early Childhood FacultiesEnsure the delivery of high-quality Steiner education programs and support the professional development of teaching staffManage the day-to-day operations, including student enrolments, staffing, and facilitiesPromote a positive school culture and support the wellbeing of students, staff, and the broader school communityCollaborate closely with the Principal and other senior leadership to achieve the school's strategic goalsRepresent the school in the local community and with external stakeholdersWhat we're looking forSignificant experience in a senior leadership role within a primary or early childhood education setting, preferably in a Steiner school environmentDemonstrated expertise in implementing Steiner educational philosophies and pedagogy is highly desirableUnderstanding of the Australian CurriculumExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and the broader school communityStrong commitment to student wellbeingWillingness to be involved in the broader life of the schoolStrong problem-solving, decision-making and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team effectivelyTertiary qualifications in Education, and a commitment to ongoing professional developmentEligibility for permanent employment in Australia.What we offerOrana Steiner School is a vibrant, community-oriented school that offers a unique educational experience.
