Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at the school, with the remainder paid at the end of the school year. Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to be eligible to receive the second payment. The ARI payment is in addition to other incentives that may apply in this school. About the RoleThe Deputy Principal works collaboratively alongside the Principal. The successful applicant should ideally have outstanding interpersonal skills to develop strong relationships with all stakeholders of the school community. Strong curriculum knowledge and the ability to lead professional learning communities is important to the role.The Deputy Principal, alongside the leadership team, drives the school's priorities and direction. The successful applicant should ideally have skills to lead teams of staff with a focus on student learning and progress, data-driven and evidence-based practice, and excellence.A deep knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and best practice in teaching will allow the Deputy Principal to lead school improvement alongside teams of educators to ensure students make year-on-year progress.The successful applicant should ideally be well-versed in knowing how children learn best, including those who may require extra support as well as academic extension.
