Salary: Level 3, $125,850 - $137,715 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2021)
This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 4, 2024.
Leeming Senior High School Education Support Centre (SHS ESC) is seeking an administrator who will work closely with the members of the executive administration team to provide effective leadership in an education support setting.

The Role
We are seeking a collaborative team player who possesses highly developed interpersonal and problem-solving skills. The successful applicant should be willing to learn and have knowledge of disability and behaviour management. They will use their professional knowledge of effective case management to monitor and track students using interventions to work through complex situations individually and in a team environment.
The successful Deputy Principal will ideally be required to work with all members of the school community, focusing on curriculum, student progress and quality teaching. Knowledge of effective teaching will assist the continued implementation of the school's Instructional Model which underpins the focus on Quality Teaching. Data literacy, knowledge of evidence-based teaching strategies and the ability to support teaching staff in the implementation of these strategies is a requirement.

Eligibility

be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
hold registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
consent to a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
