Salary: Level 4, $148,726 - $158,176 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2021)

This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025 Coastal Lakes College (CLC) is seeking a highly motivated, relationships-focused and outcomes-driven leader to join our collaborative and dynamic Executive Team. The successful applicant should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to build trust and respectful relationships with all members of the college community – students and their families, staff, local primary schools and the wider community.

After six years of sustained growth since opening in 2019, CLC is now a fully comprehensive Years 7 to 12 school that provides an outstanding educational experience for over 1200 students. At CLC we offer different programs and pathways to meet diverse student needs and to enact our college vision of 'Success for all Students'. As Deputy Principal, you should work as part of a dynamic and collaborative Executive Team to provide strategic leadership in the College and the community by fostering and promoting the school's vision, business plan and strategic priorities across the college. The successful applicant should work collaboratively with Heads of Learning Area to lead the implementation of high-quality teaching, curriculum and assessment that promotes student engagement and achievement.

It is highly desirable that the successful applicant have skills and experience in timetabling. A working knowledge of RTP, SSO, course and pathway counselling, WACE & SCSA compliance, and Years 7-12 course, assessment and delivery requirements. Responsibilities include collaborating with the administrative team to develop and promote the school's values and vision. You should utilise effective change management strategies for continuous improvement and assist in workforce effectiveness, while being able to lead positively and influence staff to enhance student outcomes.

In performing this role, you will possess the ability to set clear direction and purpose to staff, build team capacity and cohesion and promote quality learning experiences for all students across the College. The successful applicant should be reflective, committed to ongoing learning and improvement-focused.
