Founded in 1877 alongside the beautiful Warrego River, Cunnamulla P-12 State School is a rural and remote Prep to Year 12 campus located on the land of the Kunja people in the Darling Downs South West region, 9 hours drive from Brisbane.
With strong ties to the community and a rich educational history, Cunnamulla P-12 State School prioritises the teaching of reading and literacy skills whilst championing contextualised and experiential learning with real-world relevance for the students.
About the Role You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:
Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students. Deputise for the Principal when required. Uphold the deputy principalship as a values-based, ethical and moral activity. Embed socially just practices in daily school life. Set high standards for student and staff performance. Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
