Calamvale Special School is welcoming applications for a Deputy Principal to join their leadership team on a full-time permanent basis.

Calamvale Special School is a prep to 12 school catering for students with a wide variety of abilities.
We have an unwavering commitment to placing the students firmly at the centre of everything we do.
An understanding of the impacts of disability on life and learning is required.
You would line manage a sector and lead a strategic portfolio in line with the school's explicit improvement agenda.
You would be part of a strong school culture where there is a firm belief that every student will succeed and be appreciated for the joy that they are.

About the Role: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate, and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
Deputise for the Principal when required.
Uphold the deputy principalship as a values-based, ethical, and moral activity.
Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
Set high standards for student and staff performance.
Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
